The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you."

There shall come forth a rod our of the Stem of Jesse

Zion, October 21, 2011

Comment from LambLion:

“Listen closely com-pi, At first meeting, I take every one as my brother or sister, and I speak my mind and all the truth I know about an issue if somethings is worthy to talk about. Now that I know now just what your background is, I cannot stress enough, no amount of writing, no amount of actual speeches I give can stress the severity of what I'm telling you. In a case like this I have to rely on faith, calling on the ONLY HIGHER POWER, there is, invoking the name of Yahweh to tell you, that you might know without a doubt, I am telling you the truth. "The religion is a cult", now if it suits you, it suits you, not everyone can be saved. But I want you to know in the name of God as you as a literal blood brother, "Its a cult". I guess everyone needs some sort of anchor into their own idea of what reality is, so. Don't say, when the time come, some one didn't tell you. You can plea the insanity bit, but I have this disconcerting feeling they'll be no excuses around and about that time, ...I pray the Comforter, sits you down somewhere and cause you to think heavily about what was put on you, for a choice of ignoring or not. May God grant you as much wisdom as Solomon and as much patience as Samson, as you ponder what I have said. From this statement on, I will not say anymore. God bless, God help, God protect.

Response from Miguel Angel:

Did I not declare my words unto you, which were written by this man?

Of course you are saying the truth at least in part, and I am not adulating you in the least; I mean it and I roar it loud and long. All religion is or should be a cult or pragmatic in the very sense of the word, but you have utmost antagonism for it. What is gotten into you brother? I do not know if you are like that with all of them or just for my faith. But your wording “The Religion” appears to be referring to my particular faith, which I faithfully practice. I perceive either that you belong to the synagogue of Satan or that the devil is stirring your heart in anger against that which is good. I am only stirring you to repentance with the written word of God due to gross unbelief from your part. For of this it is written:

Wo unto them that turn aside the just for a thing of naught and revile against that which is good, and say that it is of no worth! For the day shall come that the Lord God will speedily visit the inhabitants of the earth; and in that day that they are fully ripe in iniquity they shall perish. But behold, if the inhabitants of the earth shall repent of their wickedness and abominations they shall not be destroyed, saith the Lord of Hosts. But behold, that great and abominable church, the whore of all the earth, must tumble to the earth, and great must be the fall thereof. For the kingdom of the devil must shake, and they which belong to it must needs be stirred up unto repentance, or the devil will grasp them with his everlasting chains, and they be stirred up to anger, and perish;

For behold, at that day shall he rage in the hearts of the children of men, and stir them up to anger against that which is good. And others will he pacify, and lull them away into carnal security, that they will say: All is well in Zion; yea, Zion prospereth, all is well—and thus the devil cheateth their souls, and leadeth them away carefully down to hell. And behold, others he flattereth away, and telleth them there is no hell; and he saith unto them: I am no devil, for there is none—and thus he whispereth in their ears, until he grasps them with his awful chains, from whence there is no deliverance. Yea, they are grasped with death, and hell; and death, and hell, and the devil, and all that have been seized therewith must stand before the throne of God, and be judged according to their works, from whence they must go into the place prepared for them, even a lake of fire and brimstone, which is endless torment.

Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion! Wo be unto him that crieth: All is well! Yea, wo be unto him that hearkeneth unto the precepts of men, and denieth the power of God, and the gift of the Holy Ghost! Yea, wo be unto him that saith: We have received, and we need no more! And in fine, wo unto all those who tremble, and are angry because of the truth of God!

For behold, he that is built upon the rock receiveth it with gladness; and he that is built upon a sandy foundation trembleth lest he shall fall.

Wo be unto him that shall say: We have received the word of God, and we need no more of the word of God, for we have enough! For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that receiveth I will give more; and from them that shall say, We have enough, from them shall be taken away even that which they have. Cursed is he that putteth his trust in man, or maketh flesh his arm, or shall hearken unto the precepts of men, save their precepts shall be given by the power of the Holy Ghost.

Wo be unto the Gentiles, saith the Lord God of Hosts! For notwithstanding I shall lengthen out mine arm unto them from day to day, they will deny me; nevertheless, I will be merciful unto them, saith the Lord God, if they will repent and come unto me; for mine arm is lengthened out all the day long, saith the Lord God of Hosts.

(Book of Mormon
2 Nephi 28:16 - 32)

As you see my brother, I am being very more patient than Samson, by predicating to you day by day the good word of the living GOD despite your insufferable rejection. And the LORD is not a respecter of persons; therefore, despite you being my blood brother, I cannot spare you. And if you can tell, my wisdom which comes from God is greater and more abundant than that of my ancient fathers. I even asked the LORD that did not want to have all the wisdom at once as that of Solomon. I just asked him to give me enough wisdom, understanding and providence for my needs daily. And yet there is no room to withhold all that he is giving me.

The LORD wants doers of the word and not merely hearers of it. This is why I do what I do assiduously. Likewise, I use all the truth that is in me to communicate my Lord’s errands and I write with the law and the testimony at hand, for unless we do this, there is no light us.

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

(Old Testament
Isaiah 8:20)

Neither am I like many who are running to and fro with every wind of doctrine. If you did not know it, Jehovah is the same person as Jesus Christ. Only that Jehovah is his spiritual name. The Old Testament of the Bible is a testimony of that fact. He was the Great Jehovah of the Old Testament, the Messiah of the New, the resurrected God of Israel as described in the Book of Mormon and the glorified and divine God of Gods of the Book of Doctrine and covenants and of the Pearl of Great Price. His course is an eternal round and he gives me access to the vault of his own mind at a moment’s notice pending I am faithful in keeping his commandments and ask not amiss.

You called me a blood brother, are you a Jew or are we both Lions? If so, my long roar should not make you retreat unless you are a bleating lamb. I am not here offending you or to put you down; it is the rigor of the word of God that is in me that causes me to write not by what I see or hear, but by what the LORD puts into my heart. The truth is often a stumbling block to many. And by reasons beyond my control or understanding I cannot be restrained when the Holy Ghost falls upon my shoulders. And it is also true what you say, that not everybody is going to be saved. I just contend with you boldly hoping that you would be one of those who will be saved. It all begins with a desire to believe. But no one can know or come unto the truth unless their heart is pierced and purified. For thus saith the LORD: To this end was I born, even circumcise a few hearts like brands snatched from the fire or to influence a few good souls for good.

But you speak of the truth lightly without knowing what the truth really is. Again I ask. Do you know what the truth is? For your particular information, the truth is the knowledge of things as they are, as they have been and as they are to come. Jesus Christ is the truth and he has all power and the ability to know all things past, present and future. If you knew him, or if you were saying the truth as you purport to believe, you would have known that he is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. You will know that as he spoke unto the ancient, he also speaks to the contemporary and so will he speak to posterity forever more. So, why is the so called Christian or protestant world so enraged that he spoke to Joseph Smith, Jr and also to the modern prophets? You are in grave danger of being cast into the bottomless pit, for you are not giving heed to the words of that prophet like unto Moses as Moses himself warned saying:

Behold, I am he of whom Moses spake, saying: A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass that every soul who will not hear that prophet shall be cut off from among the people. Verily I say unto you, yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have testified of me.

(Book of Mormon
3 Nephi 20:23 - 24)

Did you do a background check on me or am I under judgment here? You are indirectly accusing me of employing or pleading the insanity clause. If so, here are the words of the LORD to you:

For this cause hath the Lord God caused that a curse should come upon the land, and also upon your riches, and this because of your iniquities. Yea, wo unto this people, because of this time which has arrived, that ye do cast out the prophets, and do mock them, and cast stones at them, and do slay them, and do all manner of iniquity unto them, even as they did of old time.

And now when ye talk, ye say: If our days had been in the days of our fathers of old, we would not have slain the prophets; we would not have stoned them, and cast them out. Behold ye are worse than they; for as the Lord liveth, if a prophet come among you and declareth unto you the word of the Lord, which testifieth of your sins and iniquities, ye are angry with him, and cast him out and seek all manner of ways to destroy him; yea, you will say that he is a false prophet, and that he is a sinner, and of the devil, because he testifieth that your deeds are evil.

But behold, if a man shall come among you and shall say: Do this, and there is no iniquity; do that and ye shall not suffer; yea, he will say: Walk after the pride of your own hearts; yea, walk after the pride of your eyes, and do whatsoever your heart desireth—and if a man shall come among you and say this, ye will receive him, and say that he is a prophet. Yea, ye will lift him up, and ye will give unto him of your substance; ye will give unto him of your gold, and of your silver, and ye will clothe him with costly apparel; and because he speaketh flattering words unto you, and he saith that all is well, then ye will not find fault with him.

O ye wicked and ye perverse generation; ye hardened and ye stiffnecked people, how long will ye suppose that the Lord will suffer you? Yea, how long will ye suffer yourselves to be led by foolish and blind guides? Yea, how long will ye choose darkness rather than light? Yea, behold, the anger of the Lord is already kindled against you; behold, he hath cursed the land because of your iniquity. And behold, the time cometh that he curseth your riches, that they become slippery, that ye cannot hold them; and in the days of your poverty ye cannot retain them.

And in the days of your poverty ye shall cry unto the Lord; and in vain shall ye cry, for your desolation is already come upon you, and your destruction is made sure; and then shall ye weep and howl in that day, saith the Lord of Hosts. And then shall ye lament, and say: O that I had repented, and had not killed the prophets, and stoned them, and cast them out. Yea, in that day ye shall say: O that we had remembered the Lord our God in the day that he gave us our riches, and then they would not have become slippery that we should lose them; for behold, our riches are gone from us. Behold, we lay a tool here and on the morrow it is gone; and behold, our swords are taken from us in the day we have sought them for battle. Yea, we have hid up our treasures and they have slipped away from us, because of the curse of the land.

O that we had repented in the day that the word of the Lord came unto us; for behold the land is cursed, and all things are become slippery, and we cannot hold them. Behold, we are surrounded by demons, yea, we are encircled about by the angels of him who hath sought to destroy our souls. Behold, our iniquities are great. O Lord, canst thou not turn away thine anger from us? And this shall be your language in those days. But behold, your days of probation are past; ye have procrastinated the day of your salvation until it is everlastingly too late, and your destruction is made sure; yea, for ye have sought all the days of your lives for that which ye could not obtain; and ye have sought for happiness in doing iniquity, which thing is contrary to the nature of that righteousness which is in our great and Eternal Head.

O ye people of the land, that ye would hear my words! And I pray that the anger of the Lord be turned away from you, and that ye would repent and be saved.

(Book of Mormon
Helaman 13:23 - 39)

What is it you supposedly say was put upon me? I need to know if you are referring to the Holy Priesthood or the gift of the Holy Ghost or what you call the comforter. I AM is the comforter in his preparatory state. I AM here taking from Jesus Christ to try to make bring you to remembrance the source of all truth; even the everlasting gospel and the doctrines of salvation. In fact, if you have read some of the words of Christ, you may remember the world around the LORD Jesus Christ was scandalized and they crucified him for saying these same words I am manifesting to you today. I am not the light, I am sent here to bear witness of the light. And many do get angry at me when all I do is manifest the truth and provide a safe channel and a sure anchor to those who are seeking the truth. Therefore, if you had knowledge of the truth, you would have known me, for I AM sent me, for Miguel or elugiM is NAME. And who can deny it. Is not that like unto GOD? And in addition it is written:

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

(New Testament
John 14:26)

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

(New Testament
John 15:26 - 27)

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

(New Testament
John 16:7 - 11)

And these are the words that the lord said to me by the mouth of a holy prophet.

“There many who are opposed to the principles of righteousness which you espouse. You will be given by the LORD words and thought that will confound those who are opposed, to you and you will make them quake and tremble for they will see that you speak with the authority of our Father in Heaven.”

Now my words are binding upon your soul, for I speak with proper authority and in the last day you and I will be face to face in the bar of God and we will see that I have written the truth and these are the words that the LORD will say unto you.

And I exhort you to remember these things; for the time speedily cometh that ye shall know that I lie not, for ye shall see me at the bar of God; and the Lord God will say unto you: Did I not declare my words unto you, which were written by this man, like as one crying from the dead, yea, even as one speaking out of the dust?

I declare these things unto the fulfilling of the prophecies. And behold, they shall proceed forth out of the mouth of the everlasting God; and his word shall hiss forth from generation to generation. And God shall show unto you, that that which I have written is true. And again I would exhort you that ye would come unto Christ, and lay hold upon every good gift, and touch not the evil gift, nor the unclean thing. And awake, and arise from the dust, O Jerusalem; yea, and put on thy beautiful garments, O daughter of Zion; and strengthen thy stakes and enlarge thy borders forever, that thou mayest no more be confounded, that the covenants of the Eternal Father which he hath made unto thee, O house of Israel, may be fulfilled.

Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God. And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot. And now I bid unto all, farewell. I soon go to rest in the paradise of God, until my spirit and body shall again reunite, and I am brought forth triumphant through the air, to meet you before the pleasing bar of the great Jehovah, the Eternal Judge of both quick and dead. Amen.

(Book of Mormon
Moroni 10:27 - 34)

Since you will not say any more to me again, I Say farewell or Adieu in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Attentively

An unworthy servant in the hands of Christ Amen.

Miguel Angel Tinoco Rodriguez

AND there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears. But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek; and his rest shall be glorious.

(Book of Mormon
2 Nephi 21:1 - 10)

WHO is the Stem of Jesse spoken of in the 1st, 2d, 3d, 4th, and 5th verses of the 11th chapter of Isaiah? Verily thus saith the Lord: It is Christ.

What is the rod spoken of in the first verse of the 11th chapter of Isaiah, that should come of the Stem of Jesse? Behold, thus saith the Lord: It is a servant in the hands of Christ, who is partly a descendant of Jesse as well as of Ephraim, or of the house of Joseph, on whom there is laid much power.

What is the root of Jesse spoken of in the 10th verse of the 11th chapter? Behold, thus saith the Lord, it is a descendant of Jesse, as well as of Joseph, unto whom rightly belongs the priesthood, and the keys of the kingdom, for an ensign, and for the gathering of my people in the last days.

Questions by Elias Higbee: What is meant by the command in Isaiah, 52d chapter, 1st verse, which saith: Put on thy strength, O Zion—and what people had Isaiah reference to? He had reference to those whom God should call in the last days, who should hold the power of priesthood to bring again Zion, and the redemption of Israel; and to put on her strength is to put on the authority of the priesthood, which she, Zion, has a right to by lineage; also to return to that power which she had lost.

What are we to understand by Zion loosing herself from the bands of her neck; 2d verse? We are to understand that the scattered remnants are exhorted to return to the Lord from whence they have fallen; which if they do, the promise of the Lord is that he will speak to them, or give them revelation. See the 6th, 7th, and 8th verses. The bands of her neck are the curses of God upon her, or the remnants of Israel in their scattered condition among the Gentiles.

Section 113:1 - 10)

THE FOOLS MOCK BUT THEY SHALL MOURN

Zion, October 21, 2011

WalkerLightning commnet:

Um, yeah. The Book of Mormon. Read it. Agreed with Mark Twain 100%.

“All men have heard of the Mormon Bible, ... The book is a curiosity to me, it is such a pretentious affair, and yet so "slow," so sleepy; such an insipid mess of inspiration. It is chloroform in print. If Joseph Smith composed this book, the act was a miracle -- keeping awake while he did it was, at any rate. If he, according to tradition, merely translated it from certain ancient and mysteriously-engraved plates, which he declares he found under a stone, ... the work of translating was equally a miracle, for the same reason.

The book seems to be merely a prosy detail of imaginary history, with the Old Testament for a model; followed by a tedious plagerism of the New Testament. The author labored to give his words and phrases the quaint, old-fashioned sound and structure of our King James's translation of the scriptures; and the result is a mongrel -- half modern glibness, and half ancient simplicity and gravity. The latter is awkward and ; constrained; the former natural, but grotesque by contrast. Whenever he found his speech growing too modern -- which was about every sentence or two -- he ladled in a few such Scriptural phrases as "exceeding sore," "and it came to pass," etc., and made things satisfactory again. "And it came to pass" was his pet. If he had left that out, his Bible would been only a pamphlet.

The Mormon Bible is rather stupid and tiresome to read, but there is nothing vicious in its teachings. Its code of morals is unobjectionable – “

Miguel’s Response:

I have heard this before. So, if you like Mark Twain you must like the Book of Mormon!!! I have not read Mark Twain, but I am looking forwards to, one of this day. Did mark Twain Book has also a non vicious and unelectable code of Morals?

You my friend are fulfilling prophecy quite distinctively. I commend you for that and for commenting on it. However, I cannot agree with all you said. That chloroform and supposedly plagiarized account or potentially stupid pamphlet as you differentially call the Book of Mormon, has gotten me and at least another 14, 000, 000 million faithful and enthusiastic souls closer to God than any other book on earth. Thanks to it I better understand the Bible and the true and saving doctrines and atonement of Jesus Christ, the redeemer of the word and the son of the living God. By reading, searching and striding it precepts, I have not only discovered but also confirmed my true Israelite identity, the covenants and the standing promises that God made to my to the ancients of my people. Through it also, I have learned to speak and write in English language, a thing that I never learned from Mark Twain, who ever he is.

I testify to you and to all that read these words that independently of any one under heaven that the Book of Mormon is the word of God as it is the Bible. One is not without the other and they also complement each others as witnesses of the dealings of same God with all his children. Out of all the things that your wrote, even you can’t deny that its moral principles are undeniable. And that slow, insipid, mess of inspiration as you also call it, is but the simplicity of the word of God to his humble followers. The stupor of mind that you felt as you gazed though its pages was the spirit of the Book trying to break the cloak of a grossly darkened mind so you would testify of the goodness thereof. The book speaks specifically of people like you who may never rip the fullness of its benefits, beyond mere curiosity. I think you are scared of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, for it is an almost unbelievable miracle in these latter days, such as the God speaking to men and commanding them to write as he did to Joseph Smith, many others and even I.

Here is the word of the LORD to you in a couple of intense excerpts that by no means you will find in Mark Twains Literature. This may also prove to you the ample foresight of Joe Smith to prophetically write a marvelous, yet fictitious literary account so powerful that has relevance and chloroforms or entopic effects to so many people such as you and me nearly two hundred years in advance. For verily I say unto you saith the LORD:

BUT behold, there shall be many—at that day when I shall proceed to do a marvelous work among them, that I may remember my covenants which I have made unto the children of men, that I may set my hand again the second time to recover my people, which are of the house of Israel; And also, that I may remember the promises which I have made unto thee, Nephi, and also unto thy father, that I would remember your seed; and that the words of your seed should proceed forth out of my mouth unto your seed; and my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people, which are of the house of Israel.

And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible.

But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people. And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles?

O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people.

Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews? Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?

Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also. And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.

Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written. For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written. For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it. And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews. And it shall come to pass that my people, which are of the house of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one. And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham that I would remember his seed forever.

(Book of Mormon
2 Nephi 29:1 - 14)

And it is by faith that my fathers have obtained the promise that these things should come unto their brethren through the Gentiles; therefore the Lord hath commanded me, yea, even Jesus Christ. And I said unto him: Lord, the Gentiles will mock at these things, because of our weakness in writing; for Lord thou hast made us mighty in word by faith, but thou hast not made us mighty in writing; for thou hast made all this people that they could speak much, because of the Holy Ghost which thou hast given them; And thou hast made us that we could write but little, because of the awkwardness of our hands. Behold, thou hast not made us mighty in writing like unto the brother of Jared, for thou madest him that the things which he wrote were mighty even as thou art, unto the overpowering of man to read them. Thou hast also made our words powerful and great, even that we cannot write them; wherefore, when we write we behold our weakness, and stumble because of the placing of our words; and I fear lest the Gentiles shall mock at our words.

And when I had said this, the Lord spake unto me, saying: Fools mock, but they shall mourn; and my grace is sufficient for the meek, that they shall take no advantage of your weakness; And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them. Behold, I will show unto the Gentiles their weakness, and I will show unto them that faith, hope and charity bringeth unto me—the fountain of all righteousness.

(Book of Mormon
Ether 12:22 - 28)

Now Mr. Walker Lighting, what have you to say about all this? Please show me the references that you say were roughed in by the works of Mark Twain which resulted in such a wonderful work who has become more influential and everlastingly inspiring than any other literary or poetic work. I believe the words of God have caught you in your own craftiness.

He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong. They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope in the noonday as in the night.

(Old Testament
Job 5:13 - 14)

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

(New Testament
1 Corinthians 3:19 - 20)

These words are not mine and as the Lord has said he will also fulfill. Of these things I humbly and foolishly testify in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

John 14:29 - 30)
