The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you."

THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT

Zion, August 23, 2010

The Forbidden fruit!!! Is there no other way?

By
Miguel Ángel Tinoco Rodríguez

It is a matter of moral agency and it all depends on the choices. I am so ignorant that I do not know exactly what the forbidden fruit is, but I have a pretty good idea. It is a fermented or adulterated substance; or an over rip fruit after it has been taken from its vine, in which poison or a foreign substance has been introduced.

It is like an unnatural elixir of a dead substance, like raisins, live blood, fecal or intestinal matter that creates a stupor of energy or a strong delusion. This substance when it is seen with lustful eyes or with intent to partake of it, when it is touched or as it passes though our system, when we partake of it, and gets into our blood stream, it brings about bitterness, pain and death. It is much like Alcoholic or fermented beverages or obnoxious plants or drugs that from the expression of people as they drink it, I appears sweet to the taste but in reality it is a most bitter calyx.

Whatever the forbidden fruit is, it makes people to do stupid things like not making a wry face when sipping something bitter. It deceives both the beholder and the particularly the drinker. It gradually or suddenly derails the mind and also unrestrains internal inhibitions that open the soul to external and unkind spiritual influences or even demonic possessions. This is called spiritual drunkenness. These spirits seduce us or pave the way to instigate greater act of debauchery; and to commit sins against God and against humanity. It is like being in a state of never-ending learning, yet unable to get to the knowledge of the truth.

This is why liquors are called spirits, because it invites drunkard spirits, primordially death, to fornicate with the temple of God. And sooner or later, too much of it culminates with imminent death. Lucifer, who enticed our first fathers to partake from the forbidden fruit, was of an incorregible; and at the very least, murderous, covetous, and idolatrous and even immoral nature. He coveted the glory, honor and power of God. When Lucifer was cast down from the presence of God he south to destroy the world and the temple of God by introducing something impure or unclean in a holy entity to have them being destroyed and/or expelled partially or forever from the presence of God.

Misery seeks the company of misery; therefore, in the beginning, or before the foundation of the world, as he himself, even Lucifer, was expelled from the presence of God due to rebellion and became Satan, miserable and wroth, he through foul play, concealment and deceit envisioned to contaminate all the creations of God, for no unclean thing can dwell in his presence. But as we have hitherto seen, for the most part he has failed and will continue to fail miserably. For the wisdom of God is greater than his cunning subtlety.

Adam and Eve fell so the son man could exist or that HE may become mortal and that they also may have joy in their posterity. Our first parents, in life or in death are the most intelligent of all the living and also anything else that breaths. That knowledge has been reserved for the time being from the unbelieving world. But by having bee given dominion over al creations, and naming everything we know, it is a self evident indicative of his great intellect.

And in that day the Holy Ghost fell upon Adam, which beareth record of the Father and the Son, saying: I am the Only Begotten of the Father from the beginning, henceforth and forever, that as thou hast fallen thou mayest be redeemed, and all mankind, even as many as will. And in that day Adam blessed God and was filled, and began to prophesy concerning all the families of the earth, saying: Blessed be the name of God, for because of my transgression my eyes are opened, and in this life I shall have joy, and again in the flesh I shall see God.

And Eve, his wife, heard all these things and was glad, saying: Were it not for our transgression we never should have had seed, and never should have known good and evil, and the joy of our redemption, and the eternal life which God giveth unto all the obedient. And Adam and Eve blessed the name of God, and they made all things known unto their sons and their daughters.

(Pearl of Great Price Moses 5:9 - 12)

Before the fall from the Garden of Eden, they were innocent, yet they knew everything they needed to know but the bitter contrast and experience of evil. We do not know how many creations they and their children helped to make and name even after his placement upon this planet until a help meet was provided for him out of his own flesh and bones. For no other existing creation was a mate worthy of him to do what he had to do and perpetuate his essence eternally.

And now, behold, if Adam had not transgressed he would not have fallen, but he would have remained in the garden of Eden. And all things which were created must have remained in the same state in which they were after they were created; and they must have remained forever, and had no end. And they would have had no children; wherefore they would have remained in a state of innocence, having no joy, for they knew no misery; doing no good, for they knew no sin. But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things.

Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy. And the Messiah cometh in the fulness of time, that he may redeem the children of men from the fall. And because that they are redeemed from the fall they have become free forever, knowing good from evil; to act for themselves and not to be acted upon, save it be by the punishment of the law at the great and last day, according to the commandments which God hath given.

(Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 2:22 - 26)

Had our Great Father Adam not provided beforehand a way whatsoever to reverse the effects of the fall either by faith or by absolute trust in the son of the living God, he by acting to propitiate the fall would have at least, left an eternal posterity for eternity to exist in everlasting remembrance of him. It is written, that there is no greater love than this than this; that a man lays down his life for his friends. But I say unto you this also, that God is greater than the son of man, for he gave us his very own life, even the life his only begotten son, that whomsoever believes in him, is not lost but inherits eternal life.

Had the Father of all the living, failed, which he cannot for gods do not lose, his influence would be felt universally and his holiness unmatched and undisputed eternally. I cannot say the same for some of his children, for his is more intelligent than them all; and some of them have been lost from time to time. But as far as him it is concerned, he had pre-existently achieved something that despite all things would keep him victorious, for he would have achieved what we can never achieve for ourselves. This is why the father gave all power to his beloved son; knowing beforehand that he is eternally true and faithful. Had not been so achieved in the life of the Son of God, or had he taken the honor to himself as Lucifer pretended, there would not be a reason to exist for him. This would have destroyed his wisdom. In other words: Like another son of the living God, as one branch plucked out of the olive once may have said before his martyrdom: “if my life is of no worth or value to my friends, then it is of no worth to me.” But in his only begotten son, the Father glorified himself, not one but twice and forever more.

Had the provisions of the fall failed, perhaps this world and all its inhabitants would have been lost forever. And even though he, Adam, after physical death, much like righteous Abel, he would have never been allowed to resurrect but be kept a Holy Spirit forever. He would have been forever the most righteous of all the ever existing spirits. That was the worst ever that Satan would have inflicted upon him, which is the inability to resurrect by his own means. But despite of Adam, the works of God would have continued to exist and to progress uninterrupted and indefinitely for he made intelligent provisions for his prominence and ascension. And this wisdom reminds with God and with him alone. However, great works, power and faith was preeminent and redemption was provided to redeem all flesh from the effect of both temporal and spiritual death through the atonement and resurrection merits of the son of the living God, even Jesus Christ.

After all, Adam was, is and forever will be a God, for the three most important holy names of the Eternal Father, even Eloheim, are imprinted in him. If he is not, we are not. The Adam we know is our Eternal father, even ELAHCIM, ELOHIM or ELOHEIM. This is no other than MICHAEL backwards or in the Adamic language which signifies one like unto God. The name is so powerful, when given to a rightful heir, that it has life within itself. He is the great I AM. A son of a deity of glory is also a deity. Adam did choose to fall or descend from the presence of God or from the office of the Eternal Father because of his infinite love for us so that we may exist. But he did not fell into perdition like Lucifer, Cain or Judas from Keriot. He only descended below all things. The son of the Great God did it also. It is an experience no god or son of god has ever skipped. But the question remains: Was there another way to bring about the fall or to produce the seed of mortality? The answer is a strong yes. There were not only one, or two or three or a hundred or ten thousand but countless and infinite ways to make the fall happen. Some ways were simple and some very complex. The creator of heavens and earth was not a novice in these matters. This earth was not the beginning of his creations.

And worlds without number have I created; and I also created them for mine own purpose; and by the Son I created them, which is mine Only Begotten. And the first man of all men have I called Adam, which is many. But only an account of this earth, and the inhabitants thereof, give I unto you. For behold, there are many worlds that have passed away by the word of my power. And there are many that now stand, and innumerable are they unto man; but all things are numbered unto me, for they are mine and I know them.

(Pearl of Great Price Moses 1:33 - 35)

So, this assertion made by the Father himself attests that the fall of our Adam was not the first, nor the last; and therefore that there are also many ways to engineer it. Adam could have found out any other way applicable to him by just waiting a little longer. And when the creators had appeared to Adam, for he had promised them that they would return to instruct him. Like Moses, he would have utilized that precious opportunity to ask the Lord what to do once Eve had partaken; or even if she had not yet partaken. The Lord could have taken another route to bring mortality to pass as by making another woman from and for Adam; or even by a proxy arrangement from a mate from another world. Or instead of partaking of the forbidden fruit, he could have just touched it to lessen burden, the pain, the sting and/or to improve the consequences of death.

But our father Adam did not want to be above Eve in the least degree, so he equalized himself to her at the earliest possible opportunity as any other true and loving husband would do. Or if Adam had partaken and Eve had not, the story would have been different; or even reversed or even more chaotic. The Lord is an unchangeable deity or the same yesterday, today and forever, but he improves his creation with infinite glory and variety. He hates monotony and even though he promotes equity and justice, it is not a communist to mean that he liked everything to be the same for everyone. No two things are ever the self same. He does not clone or copycat his creations. Hereafter are some basic examples of the beauty and variety of this principle:

When the Adam named Joseph Smith Lost the first 116 manuscript pages of the translation of the book of Mormon, the Lord had a plan B to get his purposes accomplished as he intended or even better. There are many records that tell the same events in different terms in the same way that the account of Genesis from the bible differs with the account from the Book of Abraham or even the Brass plates or the book of Ether. But the truth is always circumscribed into a complete whole when all things are said and done. So, had Satan gotten his way this time also to pervert the ministry of Joseph Smith, the Lord would ten thousand other way to make his work come to light without Joseph Smith having to reproduce the same manuscript.

Another example is this: Had William Tindale failed in his attempt to pray in order to utter two simple prophecies or vocal prayers that were imminently and thereafter answered or fulfilled, Joseph Smith would not have prayed in reference to the scripture that penetrated his heart and compelled him to pray. William Tindale prayed second for the King of England to open his eyes so he can publish the Bible; and first, for the prodigious boy from England that pushed the threshing instrument to know more from the scriptures than any other man before or ever since. If that would have failed, Joshua Smith, the Anglo Saxon boy or the ox the threads the threshing floor of this dispensation would not have gotten that scripture from John 1:5-6 that inspired him deeply and poignantly to pray fervently for a divine answer. That marvelous and so long cherished answer brought or met about all the divine lights and visions that henceforth and forever have and will illuminate all humanity.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.

(New Testament James 1:5 - 6)

By small and simple means the Lord accomplishes that which is great and marvelous. Thus, William Tindale, a brand plucked out of the fire from the Loins of Ephraim, through Joshua, was an instrument in the hands of God for this great accomplishment and both, us Latter Day Saints, and mostly the protestant Christian world are so indebted to Tindale for his valiant and unfeigned pursuit of truth. Had not been for him, none of us would have had a Bible; and all Protestantism and reformation would have been non existent or dead by now. I am particularly grateful to God and the instrumentality of Guillermo Tindale for his services; his uttered prophecies and his sacrifice that allows me today enjoy the written word of God from the Old and the New Testament; and to have my own copy of the Holy Bible. For he said once to a filthy soul referring to futurities:

"I defy the Pope, and all his laws; and if God spares my life, ere many years, I will cause the boy that drives the plow to know more of the Scriptures than thou dost!"

That boy that drives the plow is Joseph Smith Jr. And no other man, before or after him, in life or in death will ever know more about the scriptures than him. However, the ax cannot tell the creator, you did not make me. Or the work that a man has made, he had no understanding. No flesh shall glory before God. And he does not put his trust in the arm of Flesh. We are dust whose owner is the creator and as such, we are unprofitable servants unto him. He only watches his purposes being fulfilled and I bear witness an din the name of his only begotten son, even Jesus Christ, I testify of that.

For, had Tindale failed, the Father; and the Son and the Holy Ghost had a Plan B, C, D and all the way to Z and counting to accomplish their purpose! I mean no adulation whatsoever to deity, nor any disrespect to any living or dead soul, but another Jew other than Tindale would have come forth; or if all else failed; or if no one among the living was apt to the task from the mortals, the spirit of God would have wrought upon the man Joseph Smith as he did rough when he inspired Columbus to adventure to traverse the unknown seas. Or if not, a resurrected angel or being would have been sent forth to do what we could not do for ourselves, by bringing forth the brass plates along with the book of Mormon plates or other more or less preeminent prominent records to make things happen. These are just a few examples of the infinite and multidimensional wisdom of God. And there is much more where this comes from.

But in the case of Adam, he had more merit than any other Adam before or after him, and our mother Eve was not one millimeter of a shadow behind him either, for they did chose to do precisely what God wanted in the first place regardless of peril to their own self. For, had Satan presented the other countless choices available as he knew, the conditions of the fall would have changed; and both Adam and Even respectively would have chosen the best available option presented to them as it had been done in other worlds. But since only one option was given, they took it. And soon thereafter, the Lord came to the rescue.

But he, Lucifer, in his rush and rage to destroy the wisdom of God and get his own way, he auto deceived himself thinking that he had jus done what had been done in other worlds and not worst. He brought everlasting shame to himself and also a dark cloud over his head that forbade him to set his inglorious presence in heaven for ever and ever again. For I know that the seal of the living God was placed upon him, and he defiled himself for he is as weak as the air. So in that everlasting impurity, he cannot ever again ascend to the father to accuse us. And I, Michael was the host that helped for this to take place. I gave Lucifer to drink of the bitter cup of dregs of God and he sinned afterwards, making forever impure and ineligible to enter the presence of God. In other words, he has been defeated at his own game and for the longest time he is bound.

And by the accruing curses that God placed upon Satan, after the ones he had already gotten by his rebellion, we can attest that time and again, he failed miserably. And he will still lose time and again and forevermore. Lucifer is the father of subtle misdeeds, but the almighty turned his deceits and used them against the devil. Instead of perverting the right way, the Lord exalted his own ways and multiplied even more than ever before his everlasting greatness and glory. For The Eternal Father’s course is an eternal round and he excels and progresses indefinitely in all directions.

Concerning other worlds, when they fell or continue to pass and fall from grace, their first man or their Adams did and still do partake of the tree of knowledge of Good and evil with much less social damage and chaotic than in our planet. But instead of falling directly into a primal telestial plane, they do fall into a terrestrial sphere with higher laws to observe. So, the Adam of this world was the first Elias or the forerunner that made it possible for the son of Man to be able to descend below all things and subdue all fallen things towards him in an even deeper dimension. No other people but his own could have killed their God, neither other world other than our would have allowed him to be taken from us. And no other world ever created has been as wicked as our world. So, it was expedient that the Son of Man came here, to redeem and exalt all his creations. Let it be known that the great and noble ones do come from above and do descend in self less acts of grace, virtue and truth below all things to ascend again even to equal or greater heights. But the wicked ones do come from below and at times they do ascend by deceit, debauchery and concealment only to fall from grace and to descend in everlasting shame again to even greater and inextricable depts.

Our Father in heaven and the Lord Jesus Christ passed in the flesh by the experiences of Adam and many other exalted beings. But they are not transgressors in the least degree. They were in their mortal state perfect when they chose to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil technically. They had to perceive, or at he very least to see; or to touch corruption; or to forcefully sip the bitter Calyx, and perhaps to partake of other lethal substances that cause mortality or produce death. A great many of us, do now or have partaken of the forbidden fruit every day or just by seeing or touching it. The fruit is diverse and comes in all different tastes and colors, but none is sweet as it appears. A forbidden fruit could be a stolen cookie, that when eaten, because to steal is prohibited, it consummates the seeds of sin inside the transgressor. And if it a drink that tastes sweet, it is the kind of intoxicating and slumbering sweetness of an adulterated elixir or fabricated and unnatural substance that make people carnal, sensual and devilish or a combination of two or all of these ill factors.

Concerning the Lord Jesus Christ and the particularities of his divine mission, by law, it was forbidden for him, as a long life Nazarene, to break the word of wisdom or to partake from a substance that was illicit or forbidden according to Law of Moses in order to complete his atonement. After he completed it, he was at liberty to lay down his life or to live as long as he wished. But He chose the former. He completed his atonement in Getsemani; and it was after that when he was slashed, striped, cast to the earth, bruised and lifted up on the tree. And only when he was thirsty and with his hands securely extended into heaven high above his head, he asked for water and they gave him vinegar mingled with gall to drink. That made his temple temporally impure and therefore subject to death.

For as soon as he was made o partake from filthiness of vinegar mixed with gall, the spirit left him immediately and he became delusional to the point that he taught that his Father had forsaken him. Had not that happened, while he was on the cross or on his way to Golgotha, he would still be hanging in the Cross even until this day. So the bullet that killed him were not the beating up, the crown of thorns, the nails or the spear, but it was poison or vinegar mixed with gall. So death, the only thing that could have gotten into him, other than fatigue and pain, was a most cherished blessing to him. He was greater and bravest of all for even though he lay down his life, he fought to sustain it until his last breath. And all things prophesied about him were fulfilled to the last tilde of the law, of which overcoming death was the last requisite. There are other witnesses of these things. I am not inventing making things up. I was with him when he was brought to Golgotha, and I fortified him when he fell at the feet of a guard while he carried his cross. I was a spirit, but our right hands linked as when a ring or wrestling fighter requests a supplanter to carry on the fight while he is down or absent. And as if I were the Chronist of heaven, with this scepter of power that he lent me at his crucifixion, I will make his will manifest to all that may hear.

Since we are taking about Adam, it is proper to mention that there were many before and after him. Another Adam that I can think of after the first, upon this earth, was Noah. When, the new first man chosen of God had finished his mission to secure the survival of the human race, and all forms of animal and vegetable life, even after the flood, he became a vine dresser. And he, Noah, himself, with or without any intervention from Lucifer, he broke the word of wisdom. He, as the new Lord and bishop of the human race, in despair of his previous existence and remembrance of his fathers, partook of a substance that will ensure his death and gather him to his fathers. He even became drunk; and as his nakedness was made visible, he blessed his virtuous sons that had covered him; but he cursed the seed of Cain. This took place after he had caused the entire world to be baptized. If any one had doubted it, it was Noah that repented that God had created man and under his power and authority, the floods were precipitated.

Had he not done that, or partaken from the vine, whether he knew it or not, he would have been living until this day. Then, it came about into the scenery the next Adam; who was Abraham, then Isaac and then Jacob who followed the patriarchal line after Noah. After them, Moses came into the world scene. After Moses, Jesus Christ, of course, was the most prominent of all Adams, even Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, he is. After Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith and/ or his brother Hyrum was the next one in line. Had he partaken of the Liquor that was offered to him to subdue his pain when his leg was operated at great pain, he would have lost right then his immortality. But he lost it thereafter, when he was poisoned and vomited blood or under another untold circumstance while he was among his friends and foes.

The effects of the first fall are still in operation in our frail world until all living things, including the earth do pass away. One thousand years is left for us to redeem the earth. And in this last period of time, or the great millennium, it will rest from violence and evil works of destruction until Lucifer is loosen for the great final battle of the Great God. I am preparing for that war one thousand years in advance. I already had a preview of it.

Therefore, every Adam after the original one has drawn humanity and its earthly habitat closer and closer to the celestial abode where it originally rested. And after each small step for a human, it is like a giant leap for the righteous mankind. Every Adam from the first to the last, is the sweetest fruit that the earth can produce at any place or in every generation until their undisclosed mission of fulfilled. Their works of righteousness will and do near unto us the heavens to bring about closer and closer unto us the government of God, which will finally unite the eternal family of Adam in the bonds of the most perfect union in fraternity. And since the world is still impure, as it gets closer to deity, it is intended to cover up wickedness by means of overwhelming and scourging calamities, cataclysms and catastrophes or decimating destructions, including fire and brimstone to cover deep down our iniquity from the presence of God. For nothing impure can dwell in his presence.

With these flamboyant and purported statements, I am only saying that there are certain times in history when a son of God is born with the power of immortality; and that they themselves may not even know that they carry the holy blood of eternal life in their blood stream like Adam. The Lord, the mighty and living God magnifies himself and his power in mysterious ways. This is why, in the pre-flood days of Noah, the sons of God, the daughters of his Noah, some of his sons and perhaps some of his very own wives, prostituted themselves and where taken by the children of men as they pleased. The posterity of these became mighty and strong on the earth and also men of great renown. Nevertheless, they erratically thought that just by marrying and giving themselves in marriage with the sons of god or their daughters was a guarantee of the privileges only given to the rightful sons of god to save them. They even thought that they were sons of God and they were not, for they did not hearken to the words o God nor did they follow after righteousness. Of this it is written:

And Noah was four hundred and fifty years old, and begat Japheth; and forty–two years afterward he begat Shem of her who was the mother of Japheth, and when he was five hundred years old he begat Ham. And Noah and his sons hearkened unto the Lord, and gave heed, and they were called the sons of God.

And when these men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, the sons of men saw that those daughters were fair, and they took them wives, even as they chose. And the Lord said unto Noah: The daughters of thy sons have sold themselves; for behold mine anger is kindled against the sons of men, for they will not hearken to my voice. And it came to pass that Noah prophesied, and taught the things of God, even as it was in the beginning.

And the Lord said unto Noah: My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for he shall know that all flesh shall die; yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years; and if men do not repent, I will send in the floods upon them.

And in those days there were giants on the earth, and they sought Noah to take away his life; but the Lord was with Noah, and the power of the Lord was upon him. And the Lord ordained Noah after his own order, and commanded him that he should go forth and declare his Gospel unto the children of men, even as it was given unto Enoch.

And it came to pass that Noah called upon the children of men that they should repent; but they hearkened not unto his words; And also, after that they had heard him, they came up before him, saying:

Behold, we are the sons of God; have we not taken unto ourselves the daughters of men? And are we not eating and drinking, and marrying and giving in marriage? And our wives bear unto us children, and the same are mighty men, which are like unto men of old, men of great renown. And they hearkened not unto the words of Noah.

And God saw that the wickedness of men had become great in the earth; and every man was lifted up in the imagination of the thoughts of his heart, being only evil continually.

And it came to pass that Noah continued his preaching unto the people, saying: Hearken, and give heed unto my words; Believe and repent of your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, even as our fathers, and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost, that ye may have all things made manifest; and if ye do not this, the floods will come in upon you; nevertheless they hearkened not.

And it repented Noah, and his heart was pained that the Lord had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at the heart. And the Lord said: I will destroy man whom I have created, from the face of the earth, both man and beast, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Noah that I have created them, and that I have made them; and he hath called upon me; for they have sought his life.

And thus Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord; for Noah was a just man, and perfect in his generation; and he walked with God, as did also his three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

The earth was corrupt before God, and it was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah: The end of all flesh is come before me, for the earth is filled with violence, and behold I will destroy all flesh from off the earth.

(Pearl of Great Price Moses 8:12 - 30)

As it was in the beginning, so it is in these the latter days of wickedness and vengeance. Every Christian, Gentile, Jew or pagan erratically claims that they are literally the sons and the daughters of God, when in effect until they are spiritually born of him by following the example of the only begotten of the Father; they continue to be sons of Belial. Many of them may receive a righteous baptism, and even the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying of hands, but that is considered only half a baptism until they receive the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost which is administered by Jesus Christ, who is the only and absolute mediator of the new and everlasting covenant. They do not bring fruits meet for repentance or an acceptable offering unto the Lord. And unless they hearken unto the voice of God, they will not enter the kingdom of heaven and they will be visited with great destructions as in days past. But worry not because it will not entirely be by means of water as it was in the past. The world should quake and tremble and be tormented in dust and ashes because the destructions that await the unrighteous are to be, partially by water, but mostly by famine, pestilences of all kinds, by the sword and also by fire.

And now I say unto you that well doth the Lord judge of your iniquities; well doth he cry unto this people, by the voice of his angels: Repent ye, repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Yea, well doth he cry, by the voice of his angels that: I will come down among my people, with equity and justice in my hands.

Yea, and I say unto you that if it were not for the prayers of the righteous, who are now in the land, that ye would even now be visited with utter destruction; yet it would not be by flood, as were the people in the days of Noah, but it would be by famine, and by pestilence, and the sword.

But it is by the prayers of the righteous that ye are spared; now therefore, if ye will cast out the righteous from among you then will not the Lord stay his hand; but in his fierce anger he will come out against you; then ye shall be smitten by famine, and by pestilence, and by the sword; and the time is soon at hand except ye repent.

(Book of Mormon Alma 10:20 - 23)

Nonetheless, as far as the first man it is concerned, no one was as brave and valiant as Adam, for he put all his trust in the merits of God and his only begotten in order to defeat evil universally for all time and all eternity. No one comes to the Father except though Christ and no one come to Christ except though Adam or that is to say Michael, the Arch Angel. Had he Chosen not to wait a little longer, Christ would not have had need to come into this world to die leaving the atoning perplexity for an undetermined future in this or perhaps another world.

In conclusion, it all has to do with free agency. We are free to choose life or death; or to follow God or the evil one. Some do presume that the devil only uses subtlety and deceit to accomplish his wicked deeds. Be not deceived for he uses all forms of stratagems, and when all things fail, he even uses brutal and deadly force.

I had a dream most recently where I was given the choice to partake of the fruit most appealing to the eyes, the sweetest and the more desirable to the taste. It was offered to me in a silver or golden plate, but I did choose not to partake of it because it was not white and most precious as the fruit of the tree of life. And the person that offered that meal to me was a most knowledgeable stone of knowledge which I named or recognized as Peter Anthon. He is a spiritual cousin of mine, or so I recognized him. And he was also stronger and bigger than I was in every imaginable human way. But I feared God more than him; and he, not being happy with my refusal to eat or partake of that fruit; forced and wrestled with me in all his strength so I would partake of it by force. He even put the plate on the floor and grabbed my neck and tried to open my mouth, but with all his force he could not even open my mouth. As we were both physically wrestling, I saw the plate on the floor and I was angry so I smashed the fruity meal with my bare foot. Then, a surge of strength rushed into me and I lifted him by the throat and brought him down violently to the floor. He lost his pray, even I. But then, he grabbed the smashed fruity substance as he could from the floor and rubbed it on my leg. Then, another surge of powered rushed in and then, I lifted him and put him lying down inside a bath tub and bade my wife to hold him fast by the neck, while I went to fight and buffet another enemy.

But the interesting part of this dilemma is not the wrestling and the fierce fighting, but a matter of free agency. I was being forced to partake of something I did not want to partake from. And, as I noticed when he rubbed the mashed substance on my leg, a lot of black seeds from the fruit fell from it on the ground. I understood that that man that was forcing me to eat was an agent of Satan, who wanted me to raise countless seed of death or unto evil. Or, in other words, had I partook of it, it would result in the destruction of a great many people.

Later on that day, troubled with the dream, I went to the mountain of the Lord’s house to enquire of him instructions and to ask him what I should do. He told me by his spirit never to partake of anything that I did not want forcefully. That the man who wrestled with and did violence to me was conducting priestcraft to test my will strength to chose the right; but that still I had to make a choice.

I asked my Heavenly Father if there was no other way in my present circumstances to do this needed thing other than to partake. Or if there was a way in order to lessen, or if possible to avoid severe judgments; and the answer was positive. He said that instead of partaking from it, I could just touch the substance when it was presented to me as the devil did. He did not tell me whether it was good or bad, but I felt I had to take action or do something that was forbidden to propitiate a much needful action to both destroy and preserve life. And the opportunity to do so came soon after in that very same hour. In other words, I felt I was required, like Adam to partake of the forbidden fruit to propitiate certain action, or to be acted upon. I chose to propitiate action, rather than to be acted upon. That is exactly what Adam did, only that he partook. It is not require do us to partake of forbidden things these days unless absolutely necessary and essential.

And when I was asked by the man like the one whom in the previous night I had wrestled, if I wanted to do it by my own free will and choice, I cheerfully said yes. And for so doing my life was miraculously prolonged. I had wheeled the sword of justice even with disregard to my own hurt to honor the priesthood of God and in defense of virtue and truth. I was left a lone to chose and I chose the right thing. And even though by law what was given to me is forbidden, it was counted unto me for righteousness. And instead of raising much seed to death or to the devil, I raised seed much seed that he had captured unto the Kingdoms of my God. It was a negotiation or prisoner exchange matter. And the Lord won the bid.

Attentively, a servant in the hands of Christ and in his holy name I write, for his honor and glory, amen.
