The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you."

FOLLOW ME

I will make you fishers of men

Zion, February 12, 2011

What have we here? A perfect catch!!!

"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him."

(New Testament Matthew 4:17 - 20)

I thank each and every one who has or will have responded for falling into my net and for the kind words you have just used to address yourselves to an unworthy servant of The Lord Jesus Christ in the past. I promise that you will either be cooked alive today or you will let go free again into the waters before you begin to stink. For if you are not the Lord’s fish, the sharks of the sea will want you back ASAP.

By some of your own words and thoughts of your hearts, I can tell that one of you perhaps is a licensed psychiatrist who has quickly diagnosed with madness or with paranoid schizophrenia. And another one of you may be a professional pharmacist for assuming that my words are a result of consuming caffeine or perhaps other obnoxious substances, which both are calumnies and infamies. You have said nothing that I have not heard before and you cannot do anything to me that the world has not done to our Lord and Savior. What you have said or thought only ads glory to my cause. And at the end of this journey you will witness the reason of my madness and the cause of my drunkenness.

But I personally do not take any offense from any of you. These perils of name calling and infamous accusations come with the territory of my profession as it did happen with the elders that are and were before me. Having said this, I am here to persuade you with longsuffering and brotherly kindness and to invite all of you to come unto Christ; first to the gentiles and then to the Jews, then first to the Jews and then to the gentiles.

As a prepared agent of a great mariner who leads a great ship for which I have been called to work in the lowest part, near the engines by the propellers. He is one like unto Moses and whose shoes latches I am unworthy tie. Whether you are Jew or gentile, or whether you are gentile or Jew, I invite you with the words of the mariner to come to the lighthouse and to the mountain of the Lord. This can only be done by exercising faith in the merits of the atonement of the Jesus, the Christ, who is the resurrected and glorified son of the living God. He is the promised Messiah, the stone of Israel that was a rejected two millennia ago in the house of his friends, the builders.

The Lord has decreed even before the foundation of the world to come unto him, to have faith in the merits of his universal atonement and to repent of all our sins and iniquities whatever they may be. And then he wants us if we will, to progress further and to work all righteousness with fear and trembling, by washing ourselves wholeheartedly in the waters of baptism by immersion for the remission of sins by those who are in authority before God, angels and the witnesses amongst the children of men. Or if you have dissented from the truth and feel like the prodigal son or the wandering black sheep come to be reclined at the door of the tabernacle in the Holy Hill. For He, the Lord, also desires us to be likewise sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost which is available to all who will receive it. This is the time to choose who you will serve, if God or mammon but never both. This is the commandment that has gone forth from Zion like a voice crying in the wilderness unto to the ends of the earth:

"Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day."

(Book of Mormon 3 Nephi 27:20)

Those who have been commissioned already should read the following verse of the above quoted scripture. And by persevering to the end of our lives in these things; by keeping his commandments and living by every word that comes out of his mouth. This the appointed way we prepare in all things to meet God at the moment of his glorious appearing. If we do all this, at the day of his judgments, the promise is that he will justify our shortcomings. And if not, because of our wickedness and abominations we will be obliterated by the brightness of his coming. And as a result of a great division that is to take place hence forth, a great many will end up being cast away forever from his presence in anguish and gnashing of teeth, but not before bending the knee, acknowledging his greatness, preeminence and glory and confessing him as that Jesus is the Christ and/or the Savior of the world. And that this is the only name given under heaven by which men can be saved. This is the name that I have taken way above mine or upon me.

These refreshing words are the Good news he promised to send to us the children of Israel, in the latter days. The Lord has restored his kingdom on earth for the last time with proper authority to fulfill all righteousness with the fulness of his gospel to prepare the way before he comes again with all power and Glory to take over the whole of his world. And his kingdom is called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. We have apostles and prophets endowed with great power and authority like in the days of old to administer these and many more blessings reserved for the chosen seed, for the obedient and for the meek and humble of the earth. Come ye therefore, from north countries, from the desert and the broken lands; and from the shadowy place to adore our God on the slopes of the everlasting hills. Come to the mountain of the Lord. Come home all of you children of the chosen people of Israel to safety at the Lighthouse of the Lord. This is the way to safety, this is the way home. www.lds.org There is plenty of balm in Gilead, we have blessings and healing balm for all the ills of this wicked and perverse generation: Here are some excerpts for your immediate enjoyment.

Revelation: Drop by drop

Revelation: As a torrent, Pouring down from heaven

“I counsel you: Look to the lighthouse of the Lord. There is no fog so dense, no night so dark, no gale so strong, no mariner so lost but what its beacon light can rescue. It calls, "This way to safety; this way to home." — "The Lighthouse of the Lord," New Era, February 2001

Thomas S. Monson

Now be careful hereafter and be ye not mocker of our cause so that your bands be not made strong and you lay down in sorrow at the hand of the Lord, for I have also heard a great consummation decreed for the whole earth.

"For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God. It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."

(New Testament 1 Corinthians 1:17 - 31)

These things I say not of myself, but as the Lord has said he will also fulfill and I do is as one having authority with a single eye for the honor and glory of his name and his holy cause; even in the name of Jesus Christ. Behold, this is his honor and his glory which is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of men.

The Mountain of the Lord's House

THE word that Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem: And it shall come to pass in the last days, when the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plow-shares, and their spears into pruning-hooks—nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. O house of Jacob, come ye and let us walk in the light of the Lord; yea, come, for ye have all gone astray, every one to his wicked ways.

(Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 12:1 - 5)
